Michigan Sister is a poem about my little sister who passed away at six months old
Michigan Sister
Through the trees a whisper
reminds me of my sister
That whisper builds, that whisper cries
Sister in the evening skies

Across the lakes a distant cry
Sister in the morning sky
Sister in the evening blue
Everyday I think of you

Winding river strong and true
Reminding me forever of you
Falling rain and wind strong so
Keeping me from letting go

Falling snow brings me peace
Doves fly, my sins release
Come back to me sister
Please come back to me
