Once upon a time, shared by two as one.
Face against the wall; dim lights rise.

For what it is worth, skies did not blacken
Yet, still, it lingers well below the dirt;
In the air between.

Up against the wall; faint sparks rise.

The end of this world was never further
Yet never so close as when in the blaze;
In the air between.

أول الغضب جنون وآخره ندم 1

What will remain in the air between,
But traces in the air and in the dark?

لا شيء حقيقي كل شيء نسبي 2

Nothing will, evermore,
Nothing more, nevermore.
Nothing forevermore.

Footnotes
1  Anger begins with madness and ends in regret.
2  Nothing is real; everything is relative.
