One life saved (a shared life lost) from the air between life and death.
Face against the wall.
Dim lights rise.

For what it is worth,
skies did not blacken,
yet still, it lingers
well below the dirt
and the air between.

Up against the wall.
Faint sparks rise.

The end of this world
was covered by haze,
yet above the earth
was I, hung ablaze
in the air between.

أول الغضب جنون وآخره ندم 1

Here, what will remain
in the air between,
in traces of rain
and dark scars sanguine?

لا شيء حقيقي كل شيء نسبي 2

No things will, evermore.
Not a thing, nevermore.
Nothing forevermore.
