Aerosmith Concert
George was an avid Aerosmith fan and purchased the best rickets when they came to his town. He had third row seats and couldn’t wait to see them perform. Him and his wife, Cindy went out to have dinner and drinks prior to the show. They were both so excited.

George kept saying, “Cindy, I just can’t believe my luck, getting third row seats for Aerosmith! You know how log I’ve waited to see them live!”

“I know honey, I’m so happy you were able to snag them too. I love Aerosmith as well and I’m just glad I could get off work to come with you,” Cindy replied.

They stopped at a restaurant they’d never tried before but heard was good. George ordered a beer, Cindy a glass of wine. Neither of them wanted anything heavy so they wouldn’t be sluggish during the concert. Cindy ordered some chicken wings and George figured he’d be safe with a grilled chicken salad.

Once they finished eating and had a few more drinks, they paid the tab and left for the concert. They found their seats and were so excited, Cindy said, “OMG! We are so close! I will be able to touch Steven Tyler!!”

George laughed, “Not if I have anything to say about it!!”

They were having a great time and couldn’t wait for the show to start. The opening act came out at seven-thirty, which was Cheap Trick, another win in their eyes! Cheap Trick put on an amazing show and performed all the songs Cindy and George knew. They were singing and dancing along to every song, having a wonderful time.

Intermission came and George said he was going to use the restroom and get a beer before Aerosmith so he wouldn’t miss anything. He returned to his seat in record time and Cindy told him he looked a little pale. He shrugged it off as excitement. The big moment was here, and Aerosmith came out on stage starting off with their all-time favorite, Sweet Emotion. About half-way through the song George says, “Cindy, I don’t feel too good, I’ll be right back.”

Almost forty-five minutes went by before George returned and Cindy said, “I was getting worried, what happened?” George said, “I have the craps!! I can’t believe it. I’ve waited so long to see Aerosmith live and I get the CRAPS!!!”

Cindy replied, “Well, hopefully you are okay now so you can enjoy the rest of the show.” After about five minutes, George said, “NOPE!! Heading back to the bathroom!!” Cindy felt so bad for him, but there was nothing she could do to help.

On the drive home, George had to stop several times to use the restroom more. Cindy felt so bad that she couldn’t even tell him about how excellent the show was and how Steven Tyler was right there in front of her and how his sweat flew off and hit her right in the face. She didn’t want to tell him anything about the show even though he kept asking.

George told Cindy while getting ready for bed that night, “I wish I could have watched the concert. I know they were awesome and you’re just not telling me. I could hear them in the restroom. Even though I had the craps throughout, it was still worth it! And at least I’ll NEVER forget it!!”
