A recap of last night's Columbus/Toronto game.
What is there to say about the Toronto Maple Leaf's performance last night.


Penalties killed the Leafs last night as the team lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 in overtime.

In fact, Toronto lost the game on a penalty shot.

Gustav Nyqvist scored on the penalty shot at 1:57 of overtime.

The Leafs started the first period sluggish.

Columbus went ahead 2-0 in the first period with goals by Riley Nash and Pierre-Luc Dubois.

Thankfully, Kasperi Kapanen and Austin Matthews tied the game before the period was over.

William Nylander put the Leafs ahead 3-2 at 19:43 of the second period.

In the third period, the Leafs were flat.

As a result, Alexander Weinberg tied the game.

Nick Foligno had two assists.

Jacket's goalie, Joonas Korpisalo stopped 31 shots.

Toronto's Jake Muzzin and Andreas Johnson had two assists.

Matthews had two points.
