They brought Religion to the natives.

They came with all their teachings
Of prophets and the wise
Their greedy hands outreaching
Their cross a thin disguise
They came to bring us Heaven
To open up the gates
So much ado about loving
They spread their seeds of hate

I've read and read
'Til my eyes have bled
Hoping to find that one sweet song
I've heard them say
At the end of days
We'll all be back where we belong

My heart is with my people
Before religion came
When Mother Earth was cherished
We followed nature's ways
No angels and no demons
No Heaven and no Hell
For though they taught us Jesus
They brought Lucifer as well

I've watched and learned
I know who will burn
When the time has come to pay
I've lived and grown
I've earned what truth I own
Keep those silly prayers you pray
