Trick or Treating with a twist.
I donned my custome,
and grabbed my bag.
The one that read “Happy Halloween”,
On the side.

I kissed my Mom,
rushed out the door.
To harvest candy,
and loot galore.

Once on the street,
I felt a chill.
I looked behind me,
as most folks will.

Nothing there, not a thing,
no trick or treaters,
On my street,
could be seen.

Something strange,
my way came.
From behind a tree,
two glowing eyes.

To my house I ran,
to hide inside.
The door I slammed,
on those following eyes.

Up the stairs I ran,
my Mom not far behind.
My Dad followed,
wearing two glowing eyes.
