Canvas painting...
Many artists believe that white's not a color
and it's actually the absence of all color...
But that makes it at the very least, a powerful hue...
One brush stroke across the medium,
will leave a wake of erasure...
That white brush sweeping over those bright reds...
It erased them easily with zero compassion,
I can barely see them,
and now they're almost completely gone...
A swift swipe over the nicely painted ocean, ruined and poisoned...
Try to make it easier and take the many shades of black...
Just force them over and beyond that horizon, diverting the eye from the wreckage...
Be careful of those beautiful yellows in that rising sun,
hit them and it'll look like horrible bomb clouds...
Now trying to repair all of these marks by violently scraping at them...
The canvas presently reflects the wake of white destruction and consumption...
I try to stay away from the white brushes,
just utilizing them sparingly...
Especially the stiff ones,
way too much strength
and they lack critical instinctive power...
The many other colors hold an intuitive power
and they wait to be embraced
so they could all shine, freely upon that canvas...
