Memories, sadly aging faster than me.
On astral oceans,
ships in a bottle.
Vessels in a sphere
too close to home.

Glimmering behind,
static fades to ice.
Noises kill the glow
too far from home.

In the eye of storms,
silver cords rupture.
Anchors cast aweigh
from rafts made home.

Forced force of will
slowly turns around.
Course is set too late
for distant home.

Radiant snowflakes
once on solid ground.
Now on foreign shores,
there's no way home.

There’s no one home.
There is no home.
