|The Toronto Maple Leafs didn't perform good at all last night against the Chicago Blackhawks and Patrick Kane took full advantage of it.
"We didn't start very good obviously," said Leaf's coach, Mike Babcock at the post game press conference. "The first 10 minutes of the game weren't good enough."
5:18 into the first period, Kane scored.
12:00 into the period, Kirby Dach scored.
10 seconds later, Kane scored again.
Kane finished the night with three points.
At 16:29, William Nylander put the Leafs on the scoreboard.
Jonathan Toews made it a 4-1 game at 17:28.
There was no scoring in the third period.
2:27 into the third period, Nylander scored again.
At 12:41, John Travares scored.
Branden Saad put the Blackhawks up 5-3 at 16:26.
Andres Johansson added another goal for Toronto at 19:18.
Chicago's Alex DeBrincat had three assists.
Hawk's goalie, Robin Lehner, was busy in net, stopping 53 shots.
Toronto's Auston Matthews had four points.
Toronto is off for two nights before heading to New York to face the Islanders on Wednesday
