A synopsis for the Picture a Story Contest November 2019
The fog settled onto the rolling ocean as that unfathomable space known as the Bermuda Triangle gave up one of its prizes. A thunderous bulk of ship and masts appeared on the waves...complete with crew.

For Captain John Jaynes and his crew, the three hundred years they were lost passed as a blip of darkness, their eyes never had time to focus on it before it was gone. These pirates were not the worst to be found in their time though they did enjoy a good row every now and then. The Captain and his crew believed the year to be 1719.

For the pampered and pretentious Sylvia Little the massive cruise ship was just as boring as the rest of her life. And, to make things even more annoying, the upcoming passage through the Bermuda Triangle at night, during a full moon, on Friday the thirteenth, had all of the other passengers jittery and overly chatty. Sylvia took her drink onto the deck in search of a nice quiet place to enjoy it and the beautiful evening without intrusion. It is the year 2019.

Captain Jaynes and Sylvia, plus three hundred years of space and time, were about to collide.
