Welcome to the Eighty-Third issue of the Blogging Bliss. We're quickly closing in on completing our Seventh year of publication here on WDC. Hope that you keep reading and blogging.
One thing about having so many issues is that they take up a lot of items in the portfolio. To make them easier to access and take up less room, I am converting them into a book form. They would most likely be in a "collection," but many issues have reviews that would be lost if I deleted the original item. However, if I use the "blog/journal" format of a book, I can copy the contents of reviews as comments with each one. So that's what I've been doing. Check it out: "Blogging Bliss Newsletters 2013-16"
One thing some of you may notice is that when I create an entry or comment that has a link to a blogger or blog, a notification is sent to that member. I apologize for so may alerts, but consider it another "Thank You" for being part of a Blogiing Bliss issue.
Now, on to this issue. It has all the usual Picks and New and Restarted blogs which I hope everyone takes a look and hopefully leaves a comment. After all, blogging is interactive and being part of the WDC community.
What about those blogging challenges and contests and prompts. There's only one month left in this year to get involved. See the "Blog Events" section and link yourself into one or more of them.
The Feature this month opens up the thoughts on how to thank someone with our blog or comments or more. Just seemed to be a good topic for this time of year.
Keep on Bloggin'!

The USA celebrates Thanksgiving the fourth Thursday of November. It's a holiday dedicated to all those things we are thankful for like turkeys, pumpkin pie, football, and early Black Friday sales. Supposedly the idea is based upon the pilgrims feast from their first harvest in America. However, the first celebration of thanks in America was actually held a few years earlier in the Virginia colony, but no need to quibble. Just be grateful that turkeys were not made the USA's national bird as was suggested by Ben Franklin or we'd be eating fish or squirrel. Can you picture giant squirrel farms with enough meat on them to feed millions?
Blogging is a great way to state thanks throughout the year, and you don't have to do the dishes or eat leftovers for a week or two. Many entries tell of great things that have happened or give opinions on happenings. Many have made our lives enjoyable if not better. It might be tedious to always send bloggers on WDC a Thank You CNote for a great entry. Obviously, that's why one can comment on an entry.
Better yet, one can tell others using their own blog or a Notebook/Newsfeed posting. The blogger sees that and is even more thankful. Eventually, a blog may get a review or even nominated for a "The Quill Awards" bopping that thanks up another notch or two.
So what entries or blogs or comments have made you want to thank the blogger or reader? Even a simple "Like" is a thank you to a blogger. Make sure you let the blogger know for every entry you read. Giving thanks needs to be all year round.
Blogs may be restricted to Upgraded Authors and higher. These entries may have a lower content rating than the overall blog.

Click "Like" after any entry
Submit a Comment, either public or private, with your gratitude
Open your Notebook tab at the top to post to the news feed how you feel
"Thank You" CNote - use Search for "thank you" selecting CNotes in Type
Nominating Blogs for a Quill: "2019 Nomination Form for Quill Awards"
Please read more than one entry since you are nominating the whole blog.
Give a review for the whole blog if you are liking lots of entries
Remember that the "Review" option after a blog entry is for the entire blog and not just the entry, so save that for after you've read multiple entries.
