A recap of last night's Toronto/Vegas game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs stretched the losing skid to six games last night with a 4-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights.

There was no scoring in the first period.

Cody Glass scored a power play goal at 8:07 of the second period to put Vegas up 1-0.

Glass ended the night with two points.

Jason Spezza tied the game at 7:26 of the third period.

Tomas Nosek scored at 8:08 to put the Knights ahead 2-1.

Mark Stone put Vegas ahead 3-1 with a power play goal at 10:22.

Zach Hyman closed the gap at 3-2 with a power play goal at 12:47.

Unfortunately for the Leafs, Cody Eakin scored an empty-netter at 19:39.

Vegas's Max Pacioretty had two assists.

Vegas's goalie, Marc-Andre Fleury, stopped 31 shots.

Spezza had two points.

Leaf's goalie, Frederik Andersen, stopped 33 shots.

As a result of the loss, the Leafs fired head coach, Mike Babcock today, (See today's entry in my Sports News And Notes blog).

The Leafs are in Arizona tomorrow night to face the Coyotes.
