Letters of Love
I realised I had suffered temporary death

When my soul had tired

At that point with no contact from you

I knew, where I stood in your life

Yet, looking at anything else was variable

But you remained a constant in my mind

Although, I know I meant more than your ego

Because you said sorry to me

Do you find loneliness beautiful too?

We never needed it to be perfect

We only needed it to be true

You had my truth

My love

In just a moment,

I could go from hating you to loving you intensely

Some people just cannot be replaced

Some endings don’t have goodbyes

When did we become part of the new generation?

Where morals squander to meet the need

And memories hold no weight

When all the hours, days, weeks and months

Hang gregariously from our dying light

Those little acorns were planted for “Our plan”

Did you sketch it in pencil?

Erase with no thought?

Why did you only see, what I didn’t do?

When all I saw, was the Universe…
