A recap of last night's Buffalo/Toronto game.
|The Toronto Maple Leafs didn't play as good against the Buffalo Sabres last night as the team ought to.
I mean, it is the Sabres.
The Leafs ought to have won by a score of 6-0.
Toronto, however, did get the job done, winning 2-1 in overtime.
"We found a way to get two points," said Leaf's head coach Sheldon Keefe at the post game press conference.
There was absolutely no scoring in the first period.
The Leafs went ahead 1-0 with a power play goal by William Nylander at 5:30 of the second period.
Rasmus Ristalanen tied the game at 6:58 of the third period.
1:45 into overtime, Leaf's captain, John Tavares, scored.
Tavares had two points last night.
Buffalo's goalie, Carter Hutton, stopped 41 shots last night.
Toronto has two days off before heading to Philadelphia on Tuesday to face the Flyers.
