One wrong step...

Live the life of
A liar trying
To make sense of
Youth gone astray

Grew up on mean streets
Threw up on clean sheets
Papa choked my throat
Mama went away

Sister ran beyond
Into dark of night
Marks upon my neck
Stole away her fight

Years define us
Memories find us
Heal a heart
Or tear it apart

Best memories
Come easy to me
Truth be told
Don't care what's old
Just need something
I can hold that's new

What if that was me
Could you want that too
'Cause if I was you
I would want me too
