The magic of a snow globe. A 20 line poem.
| I'll Set It To Snow.
The globe fits snugly in my hand,
it's weight is quite surprising;
I stare upon that Christmas scene
perhaps not realizing
that in the tiny little scene,
where I would like to go,
with just a tiny little shake
I can then make it snow.
Those flakes, they drift within the glass,
swirling before they land
and when they settle on the ground
they do not freeze my hand.
Once more I will unleash my power,
I give a harder shake
and stare in the warm fire's glow
at each and every flake.
A snow globe of a whitened scene,
a real winter wonderland
that brings about a cheery feel
when it sits there in my hand.
