Ken pulls his own name out of the hat.
Ken drew a name from the Christmas gift hat;
his girlfriend Bella put in his name too.
When Ken saw Ken he meowed like a cat.”

Ken was opposed to it right off the bat;
yet he wished not to offend Bella Lou.
Ken drew a name from the Christmas gift hat.

He trembled nervous right where he was at;
promoting himself—the wrong thing to do.
When Ken saw Ken he meowed like a cat.

Ken went along so to not be a rat;
his countenance had a pink-cherry hue.
Ken drew a name from the Christmas gift hat.

Last thing Ken wanted was a lover’s spat;
Bella’s expression was stern and it grew.
When Ken saw Ken he meowed like cat.

Ken was red-faced in the chair where he sat;
Bella bemoaned this gift hullabaloo.
Ken drew a name from the Christmas gift hat;
when Ken saw Ken he meowed like a cat.
