a short poem about ambivalence...
‘joice and wallow

Lies are weapons.
Loaded guns.
Meant to maim the weakest ones.

Truths are beacons.
Baby’s breaths.
Born to conquer silent deaths.

Ugly voices.
Rusted guns.
Cloud our souls and block the sun.

Take these teardrops.
Blessed ones.
Look for them and let them come.

Pill and substance.
Wicked seeds.
Cannot satiate the needs.

Rare antidote.
Silent prayer.
At sea, but anchored somewhere.

We twist and turn.
Dark of night.
This is wrong and that is right.

Forgiving light.
Shine on us.
‘joice and wallow in the dust.
