It is good times for the Toronto Maple Leafs as the team won again last night.

The Leafs defeated the New York Rangers at Madison Square Gardens 6-3, scoring three unanswered goals in the third period.

Pierre Engvall opened the scoring at 9:38 of the first period.

William Nylander put the Leafs ahead 2-0 at 11:52.

Nylander ended the night with three points.

The Rangers quickly rallied back in the first period with goals by Brady Skjei and Ryan Strome.

Mitch Marner made it 3-2 Toronto with a power play goal at 2:50 of the second period.

Paval Buchnevich tied the game at 5:27.

Buchnevich had a two point night.

In the third period, Nylander, Marner, and Ilya Mikheyev scored for Toronto.

Toronto's Auston Matthews had two assists last night.

Ranger's goalie, Alexandar Georgiev stopped 34 shots.
