Bound in Hell

Halloween Poem. Found myself speaking in the Cryptkeeper's voice while writing this piece.

He felt a gritty, angry fog
heave looming in the air
Tough to breathe and hard to see.
Crows cawed a frightening scare.

The daunting task that was before him settled in his skin.
Blood-curdling screams forevermore
He found you were akin.

Ghastly tombs surrounded in size
and gave him quite a shiver.
With immortal gaze upon your eyes
the moon shined on as sliver.

And then fright from faint moonlight lead uttermost in your soul.
Satan's delight made clear once more
You faced bloody doors of sheol.

And in your haste you fastened to
The lies that you expelled
Your heart was not found as true
Dear child you're bound in hell.
