A teenage girl's best friend and family work together to get her out of a tight spot.
Eighteen year old Rachel Young was in her garden with her best friend Clara when she noticed a red rose in the middle of a rather small hole in the middle of a tree trunk and decided to enter the tree trunk to get it despite her best friend's worries that she might get stuck.

The teenager's top half was soon inside the tree trunk after a bit of a struggle as she grabbed the flower and put it in her hair before trying to back out of the tree trunk but was shocked to discover that she couldn't.
"That's strange," said the young brunette as she placed her hands against the tree trunk and pushed and pushed with all her might but still it refused to release it's grip on her.

A now slightly concerned Clara asked, "Rachel, are you all right?"
"Yes, I'm fine thanks and definitely not stuck," said Rachel as she then tried to push and wiggle herself free again, even putting her left foot against the tree trunk for more leverage but still she just refused to budge and was completely and utterly stuck.

"Oh,it's no use," said the teenager as she admitted to her best friend, "Clara,I think I'm stuck, could you please go and get my mum and dad?"
Her best friend did as she was told and returned with Rachel's parents Brian and Mary, who were at first shocked then laughed at how ridiculous their daughter looked.

Brian then grabbed onto Rachel's hips,Mary pulled her husband's waist while Clara pulled the hem of Mary's skirt as the three pulled and pulled with all their strength for several minutes without success.
"Wow,she's really wedged in there tight," said the young man as he then called her other daughter Maria, who laughed at how ridiculous her sister looked as she pulled Clara's waist but despite the four of them now pulling, the young brunette still refused to move a single inch.

"This is ridiculous,I don't think we're going to be able to pull you out," said Brian to her wedged daughter.

"This is just like that bedtime story I used to read you,the enormous turnip, where they pulled and pulled but it just didn't budge," said Mary as she went to get her best friend Jennifer, who was more than happy to help.

A chain was formed behind Rachel as Brian pulled his daughter's hips,Mary pulled her husband's waist,Jennifer pulled Mary's waist while Clara pulled the hem of Jennifer's skirt and Maria pulled Clara's waist.
"Everyone, heave," said Brian as the tug of war with the tree trunk began again.
"Ow,that really hurts," said Rachel as she still didn't move a single inch.
"Heave," said Brian as the five pulled and pulled even harder.
"OW,I think this is how the turnip felt," said the young brunette as the tree trunk still refused to let her leave.
"Come on everyone,we can do this, put your backs into it,heave," said Brian as the five pulled and pulled with all their strength as even the family dog Baxter grabbed the hem of Maria's dress to help pull as Rachel was streched to her limit.

Finally,a POP sound was heard as Rachel was pulled from the tree trunk at last, sending everyone including Baxter tumbling backwards into a heap on the grass.
"Thank goodness for that," said Rachel as she hugged everyone including Baxter, who licked her face before thanking everyone for helping her out as everyone began laughing at the ridiculousness of the situation as they went inside to relax after all their efforts.
