they are falling again
Falling, fall leaves falling,
where went the green?
I hear winter wind calling.
Jack Frost painted scene
waits for snow squalling
ice cycles sharp and mean.

Fall dead brown leaves fall
when the squalls blow by.
Soon snow will cover all,
I think of it, shiver and cry.
No more kids playing ball.
We dream of heat and July.
