A recap of last night's Toronto/Florida game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs suffered their worst loss under head coach, Sheldon Keefe last night, losing to the Florida Panthers 8-4.

This was the Leaf's third straight loss.

"Today's, (game) was the ugliest of all," said Keefe at the post game press conference.

Things got bad for Toronto right from the start last night.

Florida went ahead 3-0 in the first period with goals by Josh Brown, Aleksander Barkov, and Mike Hoffman.

It got worse in the second period.

Mike Matheson put Florida ahead 4-0 49 seconds into the period.

Frank Vatrano scored a short handed goal at 2:25.

Toronto finally got on the scoreboard at 3:30 when Zach Hyman scored.

Florida went up 7-1 with goals from Vincent Trocheck and Jonathan Huberdeau.

At 13:00, Mitch Marner scored.

John Tavares made it a 7-3 game at 15:26.

Marner scored again 34 seconds into the third period.

Hoffman scored his second goal of the game on the man advantage at 4:33.

Hyman had three points.

Barkov and Trocheck also had three points.

Florida's goalie, Chris Driedger, stopped 43 shots last night.

Toronto tries to get back on track tomorrow night as the Leafs host the New Jersey Devils.
