A recap of last night's Ottawa/Toronto game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs got two huge points in the Eastern Conference standings last night as the team defeated the Ottawa Senators 2-1, thanks to Mitch Marner.

"They (Toronto) played extremely hard," said Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe at the post game press conference.

There was no scoring in the first and third periods.

Mark Borowiecki put Ottawa ahead 1-0 at 6:08 of the second period.

Jason Spezza tied the game at 10:41 on the man advantaged.

3:54 into overtime, Marner scored the winner with a wicked slap shot.

Ottawa's goalie, Craig Anderson, stopped 34 shots last night.

Toronto plays a really important game against the Florida Panthers tomorrow night.
