My take on this song being a continuation of the affair.
David Draiman - vocals.
Dan Donegan- lead guitar
Mike Wengren - drums
John Moyer - bass guitar

Long ago, there was a young model, Devin, who fell in love with Disturbed's lead guitarist, Dan Donegan. The only problem with that was Dan was very married with kids. Somehow, David intervened and the girl ended up hanging herself. David claimed Devin was a heroin- addicted junkie and her end was inevitable.

But what failed to come out to the harsh light of reality was, in my viewpoint, David, himself, once, admittedly had a problem with heroin. In my opinion, he fell madly in love with Devin and their shared addiction. Devin could not deal with losing Dan and David's crush on her only complicated the matter.

She went to see David to try to convince him to see her love for Dan and help her win over Dan's heart. In my opinion, David refused to release his affection of Devin to help her win another man's heart so in total heartbreak, confusion and a clouded mind, Devin hung herself at David's apartment.

I, myself, suspect David had more of hands- on role and is the reason Devin is continuing to haunt him even from the album, Indestructible- (Inside The Fire) to the album, Asylum.
