Sometimes there is that one star,
That even in the darkest nights,
Can feel like the brightest light.

Or that one tree,
Seemingly standing taller than life,
Can feel like your ladder,
To get out of any strife.

And the birds,
Who sing even in the rain or cold,
Can make you feel young,
Instead of old.

So stop and think a moment,
That even when life is tough,
There are others who have it tougher.

Who shine when others may shine brighter,
Who find the light even when they may be in shadow,
Who still sing in every storm.

Remember,
That these are the very things,
That bring you joy.
