Wear optimism like a coat;
hide the tattered rags of despise.

Attune your ears to the sound of life
as life presents itself with aplomb.
Breathe deep as you bask in the sun;
benefit from the soothing calm.

The day begins—it’s yours to have
and hold like a special anthem.
You may find that, in the end, it may
comfort you like a mystic rhythm.
