Written For the Lighthouse Poetry Contests
My citizenship is in Heaven this day,

As I pass through this way.

All is well with my soul.

It's my temporary home in the wilderness' byway,

I can rest along the way.

All is well with my soul.

I'm content watching the world go by,

Joyful with my battle cry.

All is well with my soul.

In my weakness comes His almighty power,

Guiding me in Satan's darkest hour.

All is well with my soul.

Someone has prayed and wept for me,

Fighting for legions of demons to flee.

All is well with my soul.

So I carry my cross in this land,

Eager to love and take my stand.

All is well with my soul.
