Noah Syndergaard tore his UCL recently
|New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard recently tore his UCL and is expected to undergo Tommy John surgery.|
The righthander will also miss the 2020 season and not be ready to pitch until April 2021.
This is a huge blow to the Mets, who have expected the 27 year old to rebound after a disappointing 2019.
He had an ERA of 4.29 in 2019, a setback but not exactly a huge deal as teammate and 2019 CY Young winner Jacob DeGrom held down the pitching staff.
