A poem about losing a loved one.
Death

You’re gone,
Though you aren’t,
You’re everywhere,
Yet nowhere.

I see you,
But a second later you’re gone,
I want to join you,
Let me join you.

Without you, I’m broken,
Alone,
Empty,
Without you I’m nothing.

Why you?
Why not me?
You never should’ve been taken,
You are loved by so many,
And I miss you.
