In memoriam of our dear pet Cleatus |
Our pet Cleatus' name is of Greek origin, and use to be a very popular boy's name. Cleatus our little pet has been with us through three seasons of the year over the past seven months. Fall, Winter, and Spring, but the warm weather of the upcoming Summer is what finally did our pet Cleatus in. He had been with us since the start of the school year, and through Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, President's day, Ground Hog Day, Valentine's day, St. Patrick's day, April fool's day and even as we decorated for the upcoming Easter holiday. He had quite a following on Facebook, and his pictures will be deeply missed over the Internet. Cleatus was purchased at a very good price from an area Lidl grocery store back in September of 2019 for Halloween. Many little trick-or-treaters liked patting Cleatus on the head as they got their candy treats. However just like the Energizer bunny rabbit Cleatus just kept on going and going from one holiday to another. He never did make it into a pumpkin pie. Cleatus the Halloween pumpkin passed away in April of 2020 from natural causes. We had a very nice ceremony for him under the bird feeders. R.I.P.
