In this poem, I'm making someone. Whether that be a character. Or actual real person.
If I could talk
I would talk.
If I could paint
I would paint.
If I could build
I would build.

But I can't.
So I don't.

Instead, I write.
I write about you.

One word
a single brushstroke.
Sentences
voice my thoughts on you.
Together
with layer on layer.
My words build you.
