Sharing an Easter recipe with someone who cannot visit. |
| Because you cannot be with me, I share with you a recipe. Today I send an Easter wish along with this Italian dish. The dish is Gnocchi*—dough-balls they; I hope they send hunger away. As chewy pasta, spoon-size small; a bite of food shaped like a ball. Beyond the Gnocchi nucleus, there’s Prego pasta sauce no less. And sausage, meatballs…either-or; don’t be surprised if you hear, More! A salad remains essential; perhaps a pepper, hot or bell. Black olives and garbanzo bean; if no black olives, then use green. A recipe for pleasure sake; (may it not keep thee wide awake.) The plan to keep you glad and fed is Gnocchi with Italian bread. 20 Lines Writer’s Cramp 4-9-20 *gnocchi…(nok-ee) |
