I kept hearing a noise behind my head.
I was sitting quietly on my bed,
with beanie babies stationed behind my head.
I kept hearing quite a strange noise,
I'd turn around but see nothing but toys.
A deep, long scratching filled the air
when I peered, all I spied was plushie bear.
I continued to watch my T.V show
and fought the urge to get up and go!
A growl erupted right by my ear
my furries were gone, no longer there.
I felt a tugging on my spread,
and saw my bears climbing my bed!
I let out terrified screams,
this couldn't be as it beseems.
I grabbed a pocketknife from my drawer
the crime scene became littered with cotton gore!
Now I no longer collect beanie babies,
since I found out they carry rabies!
