His mind flashed to the hearse that was hers
Taught well but knotted thoughts, taut
Ambiance of ambulance amber

Pray but prey not on premature prediction
Moved for a moment, modified mood
Blood bled blue blackening blouse
Eyelids elevated, elan in twin islands

Relieved, Rachel relived
Lifeline livened live, online
Applause, appreciation apropos
Heart heaved in a high sigh

Flatline flouted, flattening fattened
Shellshocked Shelly shouted shrilly
Dithering darkness darted doorwards
Saved, saviors, savored survival
