Abby has to stop the leader
Abby was shaking a little bit as she faced him. She didn’t understand what was going on with herself, but she felt the sudden need to take control away from him, to fight him and whatever cause he may have, despite following him all day to see what that cause was. He stared her down with his brightly lit red eyes. He wasn’t human. He couldn’t be. These people must have been cursed rather than raised as an army. He never spoke, so there was no way he rallied them.
She felt a passion she hadn’t felt since she joined the women in their activism. There was something deeply wrong here, and she wanted to stop it more than anything in the world. Granted, she felt the same passion wafting off of him, and maybe that was the reason she felt so strongly about this, but she was going to make a point anyway.
“You need to stop this right now!” she shouted, “Whatever this is!”
The crowd loomed over her, watching her every move. They never spoke. They just kept looking. The man didn’t move.
“You’re clearly doing something wrong here! No one moves like this or acts like this. No one just follows a man like he’s God unless he’s some sort of demon!” She could feel her fear melting away. This is what she was meant to be doing. She was supposed to be fighting for the people. She was supposed to be protecting them.
The man burst out laughing, showing rows of glittering shark-like teeth. The crowd laughed with him, and Abby turned a new shade of red. Still, she had to find a way to break his control over these people. Suddenly, the man started singing, and it was like the devil himself had entered the park.

All my devotion betrayed
I am no longer afraid
I was too blinded to see
How much you've stolen from me
You want to know why
I feel so horrified
I let my innocence die
You want to know why
I can't be pacified
You made me bury something
I won't be sleeping tonight
I only wanted a blessing made
Now I've been labeled a renegade
It seems so clear now what I must do
You're no immortal, I won't let them
Deify you
They view you as the new messiah
Deify you
Renew belief in some demented man
You want to know why
It seems the passion has died
We've all been living this lie
You want to know why my
Will's been fortified
You made me hunger again
Good luck sleeping tonight
I only wanted a blessing made
Now I've been labeled a renegade
It seems so clear now what I must do
You're no immortal, I won't let them
Deify you
They view you as the new messiah
Deify you
Renew belief in some demented man
All my devotion betrayed
I am no longer afraid
All my devotion betrayed
I am no longer afraid
I was too blinded to see
How much you've stolen from me
I was too blinded to see
All my devotion betrayed

I was too blinded to see
How much you've stolen from me

It seems so clear now what I must do

How much you've stolen from me
