A poem that encourages leaning on Jesus in this hard and perilous times.
|The world of sugar and vegetation and light
With children playing, their booming laughter such a sight
With majestic blue butterflies zooming around
With splendor, beauty, making no sound
The flowers give their sweet perfume
And we're all feeling over the moon
Because God's seen creation has it's gifts
We're all part of the same plan, we are but twigs
Suddenly a terrible enemy has arrived,
Named Coronavirus, it causes such fright
But with corpses piling up by the millions
Is it any wonder we're feeling furious and cautious?
Yet, even in the darkest times, beloved don't forget
Jesus is here to win the fight, so let the virus regret
That in it's odious plan to take your life
You found The Light of the World, to drive
Even the most obstinate of microscopic infectious agents away
Because God gave you an armour to end up victorious every step of the way
So in this desolate and depressive times
Look to Jesus, you will find the whys.
