Prose for the 48-Hour Media Prompt Community Challenge - One Day by Matisyahu
One day the world will not see in color
A human is a person no matter the shade
Melanin does not color the heart
Only the skin, the hair, the eyes
It is hatred that colors the heart
Hate for any hue not designated as correct
Pigmentation that is different
One day the world will not see in color
It must start with those in control
The Media, newspapers, TV
Journalists look for drama
Any drama, all drama
They instigate and pervert
Just to create more theatrics
They designate color
In every and all situations
Push, drive, incite
One day the world will not see in color
The people need to be in control
Not for the drama
Not for the color
For the love of the human race
