Winter's gloom...
Here I sit looking out the window
As the slowly creeping sun,
Busily melts the blessings
Of a mid-April snow storm.

As the slowly creeping sun,
Wanders across the sky
I stop to think of your love
And try to remember your face.

Busily melts the blessings;
Tears that mix with my smile.
Life doesn’t come easily,
So I lay my head on memories.

Of a mid-April snow storm
I seem to know too much,
Even though rays should warm,
I am left with cold and dampness.
