The Lighthouse

The lighthouse gives hope
to boats on the sea,
just like my wife's kiss
gives hope to me.
When dark clouds gather,
when crashing waves come,
my wife has the power
to cut through the glum.
She saves me from drowning,
puts my feet on the sand.
She's my seagull of love.
She's this sailor's dry land.
