A recap of yesterday's Toronto/Tampa Bay game.
Toronto Blue Jay's starting pitcher, Matt Shoemaker, had a really good outing on the mound yesterday at Tropicana Field.

Unfortunately, Tampa Bay Ray's starter, Ryan Yarbrough, also had a good day on the mound as the Rays won 4-1.

There was no scoring until the bottom of the sixth inning when Ji-Man Choi drove in Mike Brosseau with a double.

At the top of the seventh inning, Reese McGuire tied the game 1-1 with a solo home run.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Tampa took control of the game, scoring three unanswered runs.

Brandon Lowe tripled in Choi and Hunter Renfroe.

Lowe later scored on a balk.

Lowe went two for four at the plate and had two RBIs.

Toronto's Cavan Biggio went two for three at the plate yesterday.

Yarbrough went 5.1 innings, giving up four hits, no earned runs, a walk, and struck out a batter.

Shoemaker went six innings, giving up three hits, an earned run, two walks, and struck out four batters.
