A recap of last night's Toronto/Washington game.
Toronto Blue Jay's pitcher, Tanner Roark, had a really good outing on the mound last night in a 5-1 win over the Washington Nationals.

Roark went five innings, giving up just three hits, an earned run, no walks, and struck out five batters.

Vladmir Guerrero Jr. put Toronto ahead 1-0 at the top of the second inning with a solo home run.

Adam Eaton tied the game in the bottom of the third inning, driving in Tre Turner with a RBI single.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. put the Jays ahead at the top of the fourth inning with a solo home run.

Next inning, the Jays went up 3-1 when Teoscar Hernandez drove in Joe Panik with a RBI single.

Rowdy Tellez put the game out of reach by driving in Hernandez and Cavan Biggio at the top of the eighth inning with a two run single.

Tellez went 1 for 4 at the plate and had two RBIs.

Turner went two for three at the plate last night.

National's starter, Austin Voth, went five innings, giving up four hits, two earned runs, no walks, and struck out three batters.

The Jays are in Washington tonight as the home team because their minor league facility in Buffalo, NY. is not ready yet.
