A poetic acknowledgment of self examination. It presents the power of self-confrontation..
WHYS IN MY SOUL

These are times when I shut
The doors to all exterior sounds
Ignoring thunders and gun shots
Expelling laughter and shouts
Separating detaching and abandoning
Until I posses the keys to silence and calm
Admitting self into the world of lone
Marrying my substance
And asking whys
The whys of my presence here
The whys of my fall and rise
The whys of my tears and joys
The whys of my love and hatred
The whys to my tomorrow
Until I posses again
The flowers and flavors of my purpose
This is the fuel of my journey
My steps to me and all
The steer to my destination
This peace can only be embraced
In the land I alone dwell
In the desert of my soul.
