A recap of last night's Toronto/Atlanta game.
The Toronto Blue Jays chances of winning the three game series against the Atlanta Braves fell through last night when Nick Markakis hit a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give his team the 4-3 victory.

The Blue Jays fought back from a 3-1 deficit at the top of the seventh inning.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. scored on a routine ground out to make it a 3-2 game.

Teoscar Hernandez tied the game by driving in Rowdy Tellez with a RBI single.

In the first inning, Freddie Freeman hit a two run homer to put the Braves ahead 2-0.

Bo Bichette finally hit his first home run of the season at the top of the fourth inning.

In the bottom of the fourth, Marcell Ozuna scored on a sacrifice fly by Adam Duvall.

Atlanta's Dansby Swanson went two for four at the plate and had two RBIs.

Brave's pitcher, Touki Toussant, had a fantastic night on the mound.

Toussant went 6.2 innings, giving up just four hits, three earned runs, no walks, and struck out nine batters.

Gurriel Jr. went two for four at the plate last night.

Toronto's starter, Nate Pearson, went five innings, giving up two hits, three earned runs, three walks, and struck out five batters.

The Jays are in Boston tonight to kick off a three game weekend series against the Red Sox.
