A recap of yesterday's Toronto/Boston game.
The Toronto Blue Jays lost their third straight series over the weekend as the Boston Red Sox won 5-3 yesterday.

Mitch Moreland opened the scoring for the Sox in the bottom of the second inning with a solo home run.

At the top of the third inning, Cavan Biggio tied the game with a solo home run.

In the bottom of the third, Jackie Bradley Junior put the Red Sox ahead 2-1 when he scored on an error.

At the top of the fourth inning, Vladmir Guerrero Junior tied theme by driving in Teoscar Hernandez with a RBI single.

At the top of the sixth inning, Bo Bichette put the Jays ahead for the first time in the game with a solo home run.

In the bottom of sixth, Rafael Devers tied the game 3-3 with a solo home run.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Moreland ended the game with a two run homer.

Moreland went two for four at the plate and had three RBIs.

Boston's starting pitcher, Nathan Eovaldi, went six innings, giving up six hits, three earned runs, no walks, and struck out 10 batters.

Toronto's Lourdes Gurriel Junior went two for four at the plate.

Jay's starter, Matt Shoemaker, also went six innings, giving up three hits, two earned runs, no walks, and struck out six batters.

The Jays host the Miami Marlins for two games starting tomorrow night.
