An attempt at a Renku poem. Inspired by a poetry newsletter.
|Man takes what he wants.
By wealth or by violence.
Man learns to take more.
Justice costs more than a lie.
Money is the scent of God.
Renku is a traditional Japanese poetry form of linked verse. Usually composed through the collaboration of 2 or more poets, so pretend I'm 2 or more people. I DO!
They also traditionally reference the season when they were written. And this one seems relevant given the current climate (the time of the season?)
