The weather of the heart.
The lightning and thunder brought me thoughts of you,
Intensly bright, in my life for a moment.
Each time you return, your eyes I look into
Cobalt blue. Each pause sends my heart to torment.

The same torment in the storm sheds the sky's tears,
And mine, too. I would that you would stay awhile.
The fairweather of you was but for a year's
Length. And decades apart, like this storm, hostile.
