I feel so sad.
I think I miss us already.
It’s going to hurt me.
I hurt so bad.

I have to let you soar.
I’ve no right to keep you.
The best I ever had.
You deserve a lot more.

Someone to help you see.
That someone isn’t me.
I have to let you go.
I have to leave you be.

Wicked in awe of me.
A pipe dream isn’t free.
Emotions are costly.
They drain the life of me.

Look to the core of me.
Not the possibility.
If there is no heartbeat?
What else is there to see?
