A recap of last night's Toronto/Miami
The Toronto Blue Jays were looking to split the two game series against the Miami Marlins last night after losing 3-2 on Tuesday.

Well, the Jays did just that, thanks to starting pitcher, Hyun-Jin Ryu.

Ryu pitched six innings, allowing five hits, an earned run, two walks, and struck out eight batters in a 2-1 win over the Marlins.

There was no scoring until the top of the fifth inning when Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a two run homer.

In the bottom of the fifth, Garrett Cooper drove in Jon Berti with a single.

Gurriel went two for three at the plate and had two RBIs.

Miami's Brian Anderson went two for three at the plate.

Marlin's starter, Sixto Sanchez, went seven innings, allowed six hits, two earned runs, no walks, and struck out five batters.

The Jays kick off a five game series against the Boston Red Sox tonight.
