At the top of the seventh inning, Joe Panik drove in Teoscar Hernandez with a single.
At the top of the eighth inning, Toronto tied the game when Cavan Biggio scored on a wild pitch.
At the top of the 10th inning, Hernandez put the Jays ahead 5-2 by hitting a three run homer.
Later in the inning, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a solo home run.
Hernandez went two for four at the plate and had three RBIs.
Jay's starting pitcher, Taijuan Walker, went 5.2 innings, allowing six hits, two earned runs, a walk, and struck out four batters.
Boston's J.D. Martinez went three for five at the plate.
Red Sox's starter, Martin Perez, went 6.2 innings, allowing three hits, an earned run, three walks, and struck out three batters.
The two teams play a doubleheader today.
